  • Aegis Analytics v5.4 – Release Notes

Order up! Hot off the grill it’s a small Aegis Analytics update with some big changes to how you interact with your projects.

    What’s New?

    • WBS codes can now be used to filter and group metrics in addition to our standard Activity Code Filter Method
    • Companies can now assign permission roles, and define default settings for project dashboards
    • Data dates are now shown on the X Axis of timeline charts.

WBS or Activity Codes? You Decide!

We’ve heard a lot of feedback with regards to WBS filtering– and we’re proud to announce it’s here! WBS Filters are now available in the Progress, Focus and Risk Tabs.

This allows projects that may not be using Activity Codes in their schedules to be filtered more readily. It’s simple, and easier than ever to import your schedule as it is into Aegis Analytics.

    New Default Settings and Roles

We’ve put more power in your hands than ever before to shape Analytics to your liking. Account Admins can now set company defaults for project dashboard viewing to allow for a more unified system and allow executive level management without the executive level headaches.

    • Schedules – Make schedule notes optional/mandatory
    • Layout – Set a default layout for projects in your company
    • Scores – Exclude specific activity types from scoring
    • Quality – Customize quality control calculations

In addition, we’ve added granularity to our permissive access system to allow you to define your own Admins, Managers, and Standard User access rights to give people access to what they need, and restrict what they don’t.

You can also set which account permission levels can override the company defaults. These users will be able to set custom settings for individual projects in their portfolio to meet client needs

Follow along with data dates, in your charts.

All charts now display the Data Date for easier data traversal and understanding. A small change that we hope makes Analytics even easier to use!
